Iron Force Race Cars

Well what a season it has been! As you will be aware it has been 5 months since our last update………… between both of us racing, business/working and young family this year to date has flown before our eyes! It has been a long and wonderful race season with the long lasting fine weather and hardly any rain outs, the drought has been a real bugger for most of us in NZ but it has allowed the petrol heads slash bogans to get their fix for this season, the true diehards still bearing the cold nights at Palmy we have gone from sunscreen and singlets to beanies and sleeping bags amongst the green seats!

 The workshop floor has been busy with new speedway customers from North & South Island, thank you we appreciate your support in Ironforce Racecars. Our engine girdles are proving extremely popular along with manifolds, suspension, coil over kits, firewalls, axles.

 Under new contract to Palmerston North has been a fantastic change for our whole family. Not only does Bruce know how to run an amazingly professional and organised venue, the amount of cars to race against and watch perform is outstanding not only for drivers, crew and family’s but hearing the feed back from public support is up lifting and positive as they feel they are getting their moneys worth of entertainment.

Aaron will be in the South Island for the New Zealand Champs in Woodford Glen on the 3rd & 4th of January, we have a few fans down yonder so don't be shy and come see Aaron at the bus and check out the cars he builds.

He will also have engine girdles for Holden V6 and Ford AU on display and sale while he is down there.

And so the count down begins for the 12 days of Xmas.....

This team is seriously dominating this season to date in team racing.

A back to back win from Huntly in a matter of a few weeks, these guy's are really performing like a fined tuned machine!

This team has done 8 teams races in total this season and won all 8. The team has loads of talent and the drivers have the ability to read the race and change rolls when needed coupled with fast reliable cars. This all makes for a great team package.

Chris Watson is a great manager who keeps the drivers away from politics and is a fantastic mentor to help boost the drivers confidence individually and as a team. The crew's are 100% fully committed and have great knowledge to helping the Steelers, without them it wouldn't have been possible. Not forgetting the supporters!!!!!

It has been an awesome change coming from HB to PN racing with some of the best drivers in the country, although we had a lot of fun with Meeanee Maulers in the past two seasons but never got to win a title, this is not from lack of commitment from the HB drivers.

Hopefully with the Peter Barry Teams Memorial Meeting at Meeanee Track only being one night this year that the Manawatu Steelers get an invite to race as this meeting means a lot to us personally here at Ironforce Racecars, as you can only enter one team into the New Zealand Teams Champs this would mean the end of teams racing for the Steelers this season, so lets cross our fingers we get to race again together!

Congratulations to the Palmerston North U23's on 2nd place and the Palmerston North Puma's on 3rd place and a BIG thank you to Wanganui, Stratford and Wellington to making the effort to make this meeting happen.
